This is the 30 dollar frame I found, before I fixed up over the weekend. It's about 100 years old.

I bought the frame here. At Utah Book and Magazine, on Main Street.
Utah Book and Magazine is Utah's only used book store that is haunted. (serious). Check it out here and here. It's also the only store of I know on Main Street that opens at 5:00 am every morning. This means you can grab your hot drink at Maverick, and go treasure hunting with long time owner Peter Marshall well before sunrise, and even before your morning yoga. Peter has no decorating skills, and there is heaps of dust. I love it! This frame was hanging above a book shelf covered in dust with a label that said: 50 dollars. I asked him if he'd go down, and that he did: 30 dollars, no tax. Sold. One day I plan to put something special in here. A cool oil painting, perhaps? But until then, I decided I wanted to put it to use now. It's just too pretty to have in storage. I decided on a chalk board and then thought: heck, why not a magnetic chalk board?
Learn from my mistake: Magnetic spray paint doesn't work. I should have paid more money and used the magnetic primer. After I covered it with the chalk board paint, there was no magnetic power to speak of. (unless you count gravity). So, I've got a good ol' chalk board. I just had Lowes cut some wood to the right size.
It's now in my room, sitting on my dining room table, covered in a list of my goals. I read it every morning and night.
